Rome is the Capital of Italy and historically center of exchanges and point of reference in historical and political life of Italy and Europe: from the Roman Empire to the Roman Catholic Church, from the build of Italian state to the European Community.

With 2.6 million residents in 1,285 km2 (496.1 sq mi), it is also the country’s largest and most populated comune and fourth-most populous city in the European Union by population within city limits. At the administrative level the City of Rome is divided in 15 Municipi, administrative centers with political, financial and accounting independence.

Municipio Roma I Centro is located in the Centre of the City, not only geographical center of the City, but also sites of urban majors UNESCO World Heritage and location of national and city political life: heart of the city, and for its territorial position as a strategic headquarters for related functions, events and tourism representatives. For its strategic position the Municipio Roma I Centro manages several services for citizens at municipality, city and national level: demographic, socio-assistance, scholastic, cultural and sports facilities.

We have a large variety in our school population, the historical residents of the Municipality and new inhabitants, sons of different migration paths.

Diversity is a peculiarity of our classroom and the Municipio Roma I Centro has the integration and the respect of differences as priority in its daily life.

The Municipio Roma I Centro candidate oneself as active player to contain bullying episodes in the area, to sensitize citizens around the phenomena, to promote through best practices a positive climate in the school for students, teachers and families.
